I think the best strategy, given the weather we’ve had so far this month, is to assume it will rain and that my wedding ceremony and pictures will all be inside. And then maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised. I originally wanted a winter wedding, so I guess I shouldn’t find an indoor wedding problematic, right?

Like… I have even come up with a better title for my dissertation in the last half hour. Hopefully it will be “sexy” enough to attract a big audience. Because so far I have definitely not been bringing the sex to my work. (Even though I am writing about marriage and babies!)
Today I met with my advisor, who wants me to apply for this workshop series that is taking place next year. The application is due today! I have been working on it for the last couple of hours and I feel like my eyeballs are about to fall out of my head.

I just got my cute, awesome niece a great necklace and bracelet from J. Crew for the wedding. I hope she likes them enough to wear them at the wedding to be our flower girl!
